This position reports to the Managing Director
 
SCOPE

The successful candidate will serve as a commercial group leader overseeing several analysts and report to the Managing Director.  He or she will be expected to participate in preparing pitch books, Overview Memorandums, Confidentiality Memorandums and analyze/assemble cash flow and expense statements for each asset divestiture based on the data provided by the client.  

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate should be proficient in the following functions or disciplines:

• Served in a supervisory capacity within an upstream oil and gas company either in a revenue accounting role or as a controller;
• Possess an accounting, economics or financial degree with 10 to 20 years of experience with more than one operator;
• Solid understanding of lease operating statements, general ledger accounting with emphasis on revenue and expense documentation;
• Familiar with lease documents and division orders to confirm ownership and master well exhibits;
• Oil and gas sales contracts;
• Analyzing historical and future oil and gas basis differentials;
• Oil and gas transportation agreements;
• Joint Operating Agreements;
• Proficient in Access and EXCEL
