Engineering Technician (Investment Banking)

CLIENT
Our client is a well known reputable Investment Banking Firm.

LOCATION:
Houston

Duties

1) Conduct IHS/HPDI searches/downloads
2) Format and load production data (Client/IHS/HPDI)
3) High proficiency with ARIES including -
a) Building ARIES cases
b) Making and checking ARIES runs
c) Troubleshooting ARIES databases
d) Preparing Access queries and managing database of standard queries
e) Preparing Ad Hoc reports from Aries databases for various purposes
4) Providing materials for document preparation
a) Production Plots
b) Summary tables for reports and offering materials
c) Reserve Reports - cashflows and one-line summaries
5) Reviewing and formatting both text and summary technical information for publication on DVD and Virtual Data Room
6) Managing  the receipt, storage and distribution of data received from clients
7) Building and manipulating EXCEL spreadsheets
a) Pivot tables
b) Data analysis
c) Statistics

Skills

1) Candidate must have -
a) 10+ years of relevant experience
b) High degree of proficiency with ARIES
c) Proficiency in Office programs - especially EXCEL and ACCESS
d) Strong math skills
e) Very good organizational and verbal skills
2) Very Helpful -
a) Proficiency in PHDWin
b) Experience doing ARIES to PHDWin conversions

Occasional travel may be required
