Operations Control Center Supervisor

Our client is an expanding terminaling company, headquartered in Houston, TX. The company owns and operates 3 main facilities

Responsibilities:

Supervise OCC Controllers who remotely operate Gas and Liquid Pipeline Systems.
This is for a 24-7 workweek.
Schedule work assignments for Controllers who operate 24/7 work week operation.
Prepare payroll distribution reports.
Provide management with oral and documented reports on mixtures, equipment, and communication problems.
Update Engineering on station and system changes for operating instructions revisions.
Prepare and teach training classes for OCC Controllers (hydraulics, leak detection with simulator, safety, etc). Liaison between OCC and Customers to resolve problems.
Proactively look for areas of the customer's pipeline system where incidents can be reduced or minimized.
Keep abreast of changing workloads for Controllers as appropriate.
Monitor daily operations of  work consoles, check Controllers work, give advice on running systems, and answer operational questions.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude.
Capable of using computer system software, particularly Excel, Word, and SCADA systems.
Thorough knowledge of company policies, procedures, and governmental regulations that affect Pipeline operations.
Thorough knowledge of petroleum products, terminal equipment and operations.
Previous experience in petroleum industry.
