SCOPE
The position is responsible for supporting the Director Commercial Development in negotiating, analyzing and structuring LNG regas Terminal Use Agreements (TUAs).
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Strategic Planning (15%)
• Evaluate regas portfolio requirements
• Recognize business opportunities and innovative structures for capturing the value
Negotiating (70%)
• Assist/lead in negotiating LNG regas Terminal Use Agreements (TUAs) as part of a team
• Edit and draft improved language for draft TUAs and Operations Cooperating Agreements (OCAs) etc. as part of a team
• Assist in negotiating of regas terminal equity investment and ownership agreements
• Assist in LNG sale and purchase agreement negotiations as part of a team
• Perceive structural problems in commercial agreements and create solutions
Analysis (15%)
• Analyze and evaluate commercial terms negotiated with regas terminal owners
• Research and summarize relevant precedents that support commercial position
• Create commercial risk assessment of TUAs including embedded options, liabilities and structures
• Recognize and execute general business development tasks associated with developing a market entry portfolio of company’s delivery of gas as LNG to North America
• Demonstrate initiative in perceiving analytical needs and solutions
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Candidates will have experience in contracting for regas capacity in multi-user LNG receiving terminals, LNG sales and purchase agreements or developing LNG related assets and analyzing contract structures of such energy assets in the context of commercial operations, financial covenants and understanding current market conditions.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, economics or related field. MBA, CFA or equivalent preferred.

• Able to comprehend, edit and articulate clearly details of complex commercial agreements
• Strong commercial acumen, combined with understanding of financial risk and option value
• Able to communicate complex issues clearly to counterparties and internal team members
• Capable of development a good understanding of market dynamics and reflecting that understanding in commercial agreements
• Pro-active in perceiving and anticipating problems and developing solutions ahead of time
• Ability to work under pressure ad to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail in both numerical analysis and written work
• Fluent computer skills in MS Office
• Solid written, oral, analytical and presentation skills required
• Ability to work effectively in project teams & support team members in other time zones
• Excellent interpersonal skills, diligent and dependable
• Ability to work with the company’s headquarters in London and Moscow with willingness and ability to travel globally to project assignments when necessary
• Highly proactive, self-starter
EXPERIENCE
• 2-5 years experience in LNG development or trading environment
• 4-10 professional experience preferably from industry, banking or consulting
• Professional maturity is paramount with a focus on editing commercial agreements, methodology and structured thinking
• Knowledge of common definitive agreements such as Terminal Use Agreements, Sale and Purchase Agreements for gas or LNG, as well as development agreements such as Heads of Agreements and term sheets would be an advantage.
