TITLE
Sales Associate
COMPANY
Our client is a start-up energy company possessing a novel approach to geothermal utilization at the wellsite. The fuel for their power plants is the hot co-produced fluids found in hydrocarbon wells. This fluid is a by-product of the oil and gas production and is typically treated as "waste stream." Our client takes this waste stream and converts it from a liability into an asset.
By combining the knowledge of existing reservoirs from the hydrocarbon industry with recent advancements in the methods used by the geothermal industry to extract heat, the Company will develop, build, own and operate “zero emissions” power plants at oil wellfields through a business model that substantially reduces the risks and upfront costs typically associated with geothermal electricity production.
Not only does geothermal electricity boast a 97.5% uptime ratio and an ideal baseload replacement technology for the world’s energy needs, it is also a hidden asset emerging from hydrocarbon wellfield owner/operators’ existing infrastructure. By tapping such resource, the Company can extract the heat energy and convert it into renewable electricity and sell that power back to the wellfield owner/operator under a multi-year power purchase agreement. This will allow the wellfield owner/operator to reap immediate cost savings.
