Our client is a privately held Operating Company that is actively exploring and developing new oil and gas reserves.
LOCATION
Oklahoma City/Field Office
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Manager of Operations.
SCOPE
In order to maintain consistent production of their wells, the company has asked us to help them identify and recruit an individual who can supervise its operations out in the field. This position will manage pumpers, workovers, gathering systems, equipment yards and the field office to maintain production, recomplete existing and potential formations, and streamline field operations to engage in best practices, control costs and reduce downtime.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Specifically, the Field Supervisor’s responsibilities will include:
• Manage production and field personnel at the well sites.
• Coordinate third party contract work and supervise tasks to be performed by contractors’ equipment.
• Directing the lead pumper, workover foreman and other field related personnel.
• Executing workovers per engineer’s guidance.
• Ensuring optimal utilization of compressors, gas treatment equipment, pumps and other artificial lift.
• Monitor task and prepare, maintain and submit daily production reports.
• Liaising between the Oklahoma City officer and the drilling and completion foreman.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have a High School diploma. The Field Supervisor will be an intelligent, energetic, dedicated and driven individual, with a track record of at least 15+ years of field operations experience. Prior safety training (well control, hazmat, CPR/first aid, etc.), prior work with downhole service companies, and engineering/technician qualifications would be considered a plus.
The Field Supervisor must be an articulate, organized, disciplined individual with a reputation for integrity and sound business judgment. This individual must have the character and professionalism that will establish immediate credibility with the company and industry personnel. The successful candidate must also have well-developed social and interpersonal skills, comfortable with applying current technology, and be able to communicate well and deal persuasively with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the company.
